But really, it's because I've been busy and colored these over a couple breaks.
I've been watching a lot of gangster movies lately and had the desire to draw some characters in swanky duds. The classy attire seems to make them look sleazier than they are normally somehow...
You guys have been seeing a lot of these dudes recently though, so the next time I put up character art, I'll be sure to make it some characters you guys *haven't* seen a million times.
As this is both the most formal of these two characters and these two in particular attract my attention (by merit of being in this comic I wonder about and will probe erstwhile I find the time to do so ) . I glean them to be mammalian and two of the best ''canines'' (an assumption exclusively) I have seen on this site -- merely by merit of being more gaunt and sleek as carnivores should be. I've only peeked thus far at ''chainsmoke'' but the Psychic element Interests me in particular ( as well, that Reanimator draught I saw of thy hewing which I also considered to make commentary upon and may well do so as Re-animator is such a lovingly black comedy. ) ...
Re-animator has an interesting History - when good ol' Howard was commissioned for its writing it was under the agreement that, as a horror, it had to be a comedy. The result being an interesting blend of humour and horror that was ''Herbert west - Reanimator'' one of Lovecraft's most well known alongside others as ''The call of Cthulhu'' ( the sole debut appearance of the Kthulhu Mythos big action star - Cthulhu.) and my personal favorite '' The dream-quest of Unknown Kadath'' ( an epic quest thro' the Dream Cycle of His H.P.L. - ness and in my humb-led opinion one of the greatest accomplishments of litera-ture due to a particularly Nietzschean scene.) The Mythos is what all know Him fer but I personally favour His Dream Cycle and Macabre stories as equally great ( though not as Role-play-y ) and from where the true direction of all those Cheesy Kthul' Role-playin' games should have taken its dynamic - namely its own D&D Arch-y-type.
