Oh me and my color comics.

So here's the first page of a self-contained one-shot for my Chainsmoke story. It's a pretty silly idea that I've had sitting around for a while, but I thought it'd be a good one to kick things off. I'll be uploading a new page every Tuesday until this story is finished and it will be available for you to buy afterwards (with added extras that I'm not putting on the net of course so that it's actually worth buying) which is highly encouraged.

This page was my refresher on perspective --- spent a lot of time trying to get it all to mostly make sense while still making something at least somewhat visually interesting. I hope to get more creative with this stuff as the story progresses since there are a lot of things I could have done here to make it more playful than it is. But live and learn right? =p

Also, before I get into minimal descriptions for the next 24-ish pages, I want to give a thanks and shout-out to *Zorgia whose sage advice and comic experience is helping me out a LOT with this and other comic related things (not-so-subliminal message: READ WYLIMAN), and my friend ~DougDougmann is also updating Tuesdays with his comic The Life and Times of Earl Grey! So go check it out! You will not regret it! : )

Anyway, enough babbling from me. I hate long descriptions. New page coming next Tuesday and I hope you enjoy the story!

I love the painting style! Reminds me of the guy who works Pratchet's book covers.

So much detail in the environment, I'm always impressed by that since it eludes me. Great colors, too.

Very nice from the technical aspect. And it (very positively) makes me think of Discworld -- not in a copy-ish way, but in a tonal pleasant-ness.

Cheers, and more imprecise language!

Haha! Thank you kindly. :)

No worries about imprecise language either. I do the same thing all the time.
